How does 75 degrees, sunshine, and pristine blue ocean sound? It was my 45th birthday in alittle bit of paradise! St. Thomas, Turks & Caicos, Peurto Rico, and Bahamas. What fun :)

ESPN TV MOMENT!

MIZZOU VS IOWA ----- INSIGHT BOWL, TEMPE AZ ----- DEC. 28, 2010

Thanks to Di's DVR and pausing live TV, my sister and I were captured on ESPN while cheering for our Missouri Tigers at the Insight Bowl last Tuesday night! How much fun to have 5 seconds of TV time and to have a keepsake of our fun, fun few days of TIGER mania :) We did end up stunned and shocked at our LOSS 24-27 after we thought we had the game won. A bit of controversy along the way as well. It was an exciting game and cheered our hardest :)

It was a wonderful week in Kona and what a way to spend my 44th birthday!

"Cool Aunt Marsha" Visits Utah

What a wonderful way to spend my UEA break! My Aunt visits from Ohio to see my new place and see the sights. We started in beautiful SLC, Park City Main Street, and then drove to Southern Utah to see Bryce Canyon NP and Zion NP. For an added bonus Kris and Tina drove up from Phoenix and my friend Suzi and her darling "doodle poodle" Snickers, joined us.

Marine Boot Camp OH MY!

Last week, I spent the week in San Diego on a teacher workshop with the Marine Corp. It was quite exhausting and informative. Here are few pic's and video's. Our military is pretty impressive! We were up early and out late. My friend Kim from school came too. Molly is the Marine mascot...quite an under bite :) We also had some very handsome Drill Sargents.
